Website description:
just lines is a visual art installation, accompanied by live music. Raga-inspired improvisations are interspersed with songs, with synth by Andrew Short, guitar, drums and vocals by Colin Mclaine. The drawings in just lines use simple materials – sharpies and newsprint – to transmit a physical impulse. Via movement, repetition and connection to wave forms, Mclaine creates a room-sized recording of the moment.
